For anyone looking for a “Deep Tissue” massage, please visit my Therapeutic Massage page. For specific problems, I pretty much will work to whatever depth is needed to get the job done. Those techniques are performed dry, without oil, so that I can optimally grip and work with the connective tissue.
As for “oil” massage, I prefer to only use it for focusing on relaxation and nurturing the skin with super-healthy oils. For such occasions, I have the following three options. Hot towels are provided at the end of the session for people to wipe off any access oil.
Aromatic Desert – This is not actually a standalone session but, rather, an add-on to a ‘dry’ therapeutic massage session for people who still want a little pampering. It adds 10 minutes to the end of a session for oil massage of the head, neck and shoulders. Fractionated Coconut Oil is used with your choice of available essential oils. $20 upgrade for added time.
“General Oil” Massage –For the clients wanting to have a session that is more of a ‘pampering’ session, closer to that of a so-called Swedish Massage, I still perform sessions based on my original specialization in Russian-based sports massage. Its techniques are very similar to Swedish massage except for its heavy focus of using different rhythms to affect circulation and the nervous system.
The pricing is the same my base price for my sessions:
One-time pricing: $95 for 1 hour, $140 for 90 minutes, and $180 for 2 hours
Interval pricing (at least once/month): $87 for 1 hour, $127 for 90 minutes, and $160 for 2 hours
“Therapeutic Oil” Massage – This uses the same Russian-based techniques but uses more expensive oils infused with additional “infusion” oils that boost the skin-rejuvenating value of the oil. $20 upgrade.
